Donald Ray Chambers

Donald Ray Chambers, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 in a local health care facility. He was a life-long resident of Bradley County and he was the son of the late Gladys Heifner Chambers and LaFon H. Chambers. His wife, Elizabeth Ann Crabtree Chambers also preceded him in death. Don was a 1952 graduate of Charleston High School. He was retired from Bendix Corporation after many years of service. Don was a loving husband and he was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.Survivors include his sister, Nancy C. Benson, brother, Elmer L. Chambers (Sue Liner Chambers), sister in law, Maxine Crabtree and a host of nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11 A. M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend David Evans officiating.
