Evelyn Carroll

Evelyn Carroll, 93, a life-long resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, February 20, in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late James Blanco and Cordie Wooden and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Carroll; children, Patricia Carrol Harrod and Rick Carroll; sisters, Helen Rucker, Betty Horner, Frances Cole, Mildred Jordan and Billie Thompson.Evelyn, along with her husband George, owned and operated Hi Lo Industries Furniture Company for over 45 years. She loved the beach but most of all she loved her sisters, husband, children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those that loved her.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Wright (Roger), Gary Carroll, Lisa Keller (Buddy) and daughter and caretaker, Annie Carroll. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday, February 23 at 1 pm at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Madison Carroll, Patrick Carroll, Zack Rogers, Cody Keller, Brent Rogers, Blake Rogers, Zeke Harden and Jon Cloer serving as casket bearers. Officiating clergy will be Reverend Adam Harden. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 am until 12:45 pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Street Chapel.
