Bill was born in Cleveland and he was the son of the late Enid Basket Ensley and Bert H. Ensley. His wife, Patricia Ensley also preceded him in death. Bill was retired from the Cleveland/Bradley County Law Enforcement with over 25 years of service. He retired as Lt. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Bill over two years ago he was such a great man and my friend. I loved hearing about his experiences in law enforcement and hearing about his family and his deep love for his wife. Selfishly I wish I had more time with him but I know he is out of pain now and with his beautiful wife and children, so until we she each other again rest easy now my sweet Bill.
