Norma Jean Earls

Norma Jean Bandy Earls, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 9, 2024 at the family residence. Norma was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Nellie Lee Pierce Bandy and Carl Bandy. Her first husband, James Shelton Jr., her second husband, Harold Earls, her sisters, Marie Riden, Wanda Johnson and her brothers, T. C. Bandy, Jack Bandy, Wayne Bandy and her infant brother, James Edward Bandy also preceded her in death. Norma was a homemaker and she enjoyed the outdoors including fishing. She also enjoyed going to yard sales. Most of all, Norma was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Shelton, son, James Shelton both of Cleveland, grandchildren, Cory Shelton (Danille), Patty Kirby, great grandchild, Eliza Kirby, sisters, Wilma Rudd (Hugh), Dot Gates (Gene), all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2 P. M. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Homer Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 12 P. M. until 2 P. M. Tuesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
