Ronald A. Johnson Sr.

Ronald A. Johnson Sr., 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the family residence. Mr. Johnson was born in Cleveland, Tennessee and he was the son of the late Reba Marie Lemons Johnson and Joseph "J. W." Johnson. His sister, Jaylene Ingle and his brother, Terry Kenneth Johnson also preceded him in death. Mr. Johnson was U. S. Air Force Veteran. He was retired from Magic Chef/Maytag with over 30 years of service. His last position being in Quality Control as an Auditor. He enjoyed wood working but most of all he was known for being a wonderful family man! Mr. Johnson was a member of the St. Therese Catholic Church.Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Marjorie Johnson, Cleveland; daughters, Amanda Holder (Dwight), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Kim Cook (Gregory), Monique Johnson (companion, Scott), Stephanie Bates (Johnny), all of Cleveland; sons, David Moore, (Lydia), Peru, New York, Ronnie Johnson Jr. (Jacquie), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Shane Johnson, (Susan), Cleveland, Joe Johnson (Louisa), California City, California, Alan Johnson (Angela), Cleveland; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Therese Catholic Church on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:30 A.
