Ruby L. Evans (Beeler) a devoted lady to her family, respected friend,, a woman of faith, and beloved member of Community Hall Church, went to her heavenly home on March 13, 2024, she was 90 years old. Ruby has resided at Legacy Village of Cleveland for the past 4 years. A place that she enjoyed living, created new friendships, and quickly felt like home.Ruby was born on May 8, 1933, in Benham, KY to Mike Beeler and Bonnie Beeler (Smith). She was one of three children: Brother, Marvin Guy Beeler, and Brother, Jimmie both deceased. Ruby relocated to Cleveland, TN with her family at the age of 12 years old.On December 26, 1949, Ruby married the love of her life, Fred A. Evans JR (deceased) in Chatsworth, GA. After two years of marriage while Fred was in the Army, Ruby traveled to live with her husband in Germany, France and Spain. After traveling Ruby became a resident in Cleveland, TN. Together Ruby and her husband built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their two sons. Mark Evans (Saron), and Tracy Evans.Ruby created a life-long friendship with her son's wife Sharon Evans (deceased) and her husband's two sisters Cordie Davis (deceased) and Barbara Huff. Through the years the relationship of these four women was nurtured and cherished like sisters. Ruby had four Grandchildren: Josh Evans (Char Mason), Zach Evans, Dylan Evans, Skylar Evans. Five Great Grandchildren: Lillian, Iza, Zander, Daniel, and Silas. Extended Family: David and Kristy Clark (Stella), Dakota and Breonna Davis (Haiden, Silas, Evie, Van, and Violet).Ruby always enjoyed trips to Florida with her family. She was an excellent bowler and won many awards. She spent most afternoons playing cards with a group of friends and family. She always cherished time with her grandchildren. Ruby had a big heart full of love and kindness. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile that lit up the room. She had an immense passion for her family, her love for God, and her church. Her legacy of loving large and her giving spirit will live forever. Reminding us to do meaningful acts of love and service as Christ modeled for us.Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral Home, North Ocoee Chapel, with the Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family would like to say thank you to Legacy Village of Cleveland and staff for taking great care of Ruby over the past 4 years. Further, the family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the team of staff at Hearth Hospice of Cleveland. Especially to Scott Farley who has helped her family and accommodated Ruby's (Nanny's) every need in this transition of life. The family will receive friends from 2 P. M. until 4 P. M.
