Alvin C. O'Neil

Alvin C. O’Neil age 57 a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday September 23, 2015. Alvin was the son of the late B.C. and Lydia Blazer O’Neil and was also preceded in death by his step mother Edna O’Neil and his father in law Denver Painter.Alvin was an avid Bowler he loved to fish and hunt because he loved being outdoors, nature and wildlife. He was a one time member of the Tennessee Defense Force and was of the Christian faith. However Alvin’s number one goal was to be able to make a difference in this world mainly by helping others.Survivors include his wife of 20 years Denean Painter O’Neil, his sister Faye Cooper and her husband Charles Jr., of Cleveland, step sister Joyce Slocumb and her husband Doug of Cleveland, nephews Chris Wright and his wife Tara of Dardenelle AK., David Wright of Cleveland, nieces Holly Cooper Ogletree and he husband John of Roswell GA., Julia Cooper Hudson and her husband B.J. of Murfreesboro, great nieces and nephews Lucy, Noah, Aspen and Stratton Wright his mother in law Frankie Painter of Cleveland, and his aunt Ida Belle Blazer Renner of Parrottsville Tn., several cousins.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Dr. Susan Harper and Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony Rayfield, Ken Grizzard, Tom Falls, Chris Wright, David Wright and Jay Rayburn serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
