Ann Holder

Ann Holder, resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to her eternal home on June 13, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center. Ann was born on May 12, 1929. She was 88 years old and was the oldest living member of the Mount Olive Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a lifelong resident of the state of Tennessee with residence in Birchwood, Georgetown, Chattanooga and Cleveland.She was married to Ray Calvin Holder on November 10, 1949. They had three children, Teresa Holder Norman of Cleveland, Tennessee, Randy Calvin Holder (deceased), and Stanley Ray Holder of Edmond, Oklahoma. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Holder, son, Randy C. Holder, stepson, Willis Lee Holder, Sr., parents William Parker and Maggie Parker Williams, siblings Rosetta Finnell, Edward Parker, and Edna Logan. She loved beautiful flowers and gardening. Her ministry late in life was as an encourager, sending messages of grace and hope through her daily card ministry. She shared the love of Christ with everyone she met through the manner she lived her life and when necessary used words.She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Holder Norman, son Stanley Ray Holder, daughter in law Teresa Brock Holder, grandchildren Dana Michelle Norman Hughes, Jeffery Ray Norman, Christopher Brock Holder (Magan), Jerad Christian Holder, Candice Holder, Willis Lee Holder Jr., great grand children, Tucker Allen Godfrey, Casson William Hughes, Carter Knox McGowan, Trooper Lane Norman, Aiden Matthew Holder, Israel Micah Holder, siblings Jim (Diane) Williams, Vina Herron, Shirley (Jack) Hollifield and many nieces, nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Friday, June 16, 2017 at 4:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Bishop Stan Holder, Reverend Teresa Norman, Pastors' Gary Sears and Kevin Mendel officiating. Interment will follow in the McInturf Cemetery in Meigs County with Jeff Norman, Tucker Godfrey, Casson Hughes, Knox McGowan, Chris Holder, Jerad Holder and Trooper Norman serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P. M. Friday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
