Steele Stonecipher, 78, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lenny Maples Steele and was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Johnny Leon “Stoney” Stonecipher and her sister Linda K. Blakely.She attended Community Hall Church and was retired from J.H. Kellman Company with over 20 years of service. She loved flowers but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren spending a lot of time playing with them. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family.She is survived by her daughters Donna White, Sandra Ledford and her husband Jamie all of Cleveland, her grandchildren Chase Watson and his wife LaShonda, Brad Watson and his wife Lindsey, Sierra Ledford, Trusann Trotter and Lindsey White, her great grandchildren Lyric Cantrell, Cameron Dwyer, Abby Watson, Kailey Cantrell, Ella Watson, Baylee Jo Watson, Gabe White, Peyton Watson and Emery Couch, her brothers Arville Steele and Hubert Steele, and her brother in law Danny Blakely all of Cleveland, several nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2pm Friday at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. The interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with Paul Baker, Tommy Blackburn, Rodney Steele, Ricky Stonecipher, Chris Dilbeck, Mark Keene and Ethan Couch serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 until 7pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
