Billie Lee Stephens

Billie Lee Stephens, age 89, a resident of Cleveland, entered her heavenly home on July 10, 2018. Mrs. Stephens was the daughter of the late Lela Taylor Moore and Carl Moore. Her husband of 71 years, LaVern R. Stephens, her beloved son, Greg L. Stephens, her brother and her sister also preceded her in death. Billie loved her family and her church. She also loved to shop and interior decorating. She was a member of the Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy.Survivors include her grandchildren, Nick B. Stephens and Torrie A. Stephens, her daughter in law, Sandra J. Stephens, her brother, Larry Moore and his wife Bette, her sisters in law, Lorraine VanDeventer and her husband Eugene, Rene Moore and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Bishop Tim Coalter, Jeff Moore and Anthony Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jason Dasher, Seaton Dasher, Conner Dasher, Mark Meinke, Greg Goodman and Bruce McDonald serving as casket bearers. The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to Keith Street Ministries, Peru Mission Fund; j4000 Keith Street N. W. Cleveland, Tennessee 37312. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 Thursday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
