Carl Wade

Carl Wade, age 62, a resident of Charleston, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the family residence. Carl was the son of the late Ruby Cox Wade and Leonard Wade. His brothers, Woody and Dean Wade also preceded him in death. Carl worked in construction, building houses and at the time of his death, he worked for Mohawk Industries. His true passion was working on cars! He owned several classic cars and he enjoyed going to car shows, hot rods and drag racing. Carl was of the Christian faith.Survivors include his wife, Karen Wade of Charleston, his sons, Jeremy Wade also of Charleston, Jimmy Wade of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, William Seth Wade and Matthew Wade both of Charleston, his grandsons, Jacob Wade of Lansing, North Carolina and Christian Wade of Charleston, his sisters, Sue Brooks of Edgewood, Maryland, Mary Ledford and her husband Butch of Creston, North Carolina, his brothers, Teddy Wade and his wife Mary of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, Curtis Wade and his wife Shirley of Mountain City, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Ricky Vaughn officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Thursday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
