Charles “Ed” Beard age 62 a resident of Tennga GA., passed away Wednesday July 22, 2015 in a local health care facility. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Deanna Prince Beard, his father Joe Raymond Beard two daughters Dalen Deann Beard and Dorothy Lee Beard.Ed was a well-known mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.He is survived by his sons Joseph Roy “Joe” Beard and his wife Michelle of Benton, Edison Kyle “Eddie” Beard and his wife Christine of Cleveland, grandchildren Seth, Caylie, Kaitlin “Dot”, and Bryson Beard, his mother Beulah Lee Hardin Beard, sisters Judy Jones and her husband Alvin of Cisco GA., JoAnn Manis and her husband Tony of Crandall GA., Charlotte Ridley and her husband Ernie of Chatsworth Ga., brothers George Beard and his wife Freda of Old Fort, J.C. Beard and his wife Holly of Tennga GA.A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Charles Moore officiating. The interment will follow in Boanerges Baptist Church cemetery with Matt Jones, Josh Manis, Daniel Reagan, Nick Davenport, Holden Bowman and Austin Ridley serving as casketbearers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
