Mr. Dunn was the son of the late Ada Brackett Dunn and Hearld Dunn. His wife, Lois Dunn and a brother also preceded him in death. Mr. Dunn was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with an Engineering Degree. He served as an Industrial Engineer with Calsonic Corporation for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. Mr. Dunn was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.Survivors include his daughter, Janice Johns and her husband David of Decatur, Tennessee, his sons, David and Michael Dunn both of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Jordan Seth Johns, Caleb H. Johns and Daryl "Dee Dee" Johns and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. from the Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Parm officiating. Interment will follow in the Dill Cemetery in Polk County. The family request that in lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 just before the services Saturday at the Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church. The North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
