Charles Leroy Waters

Charles Leroy Waters age 77 a resident of Old Fort passed away Sunday May 14, 2017 at the family residence. He was the son of the late Willie “Zeke” Waters and Lillie Waters and was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert “Bob” Waters, Willie “Snuffy” Waters and Roger and C.L. Waters, 3 sisters Willie Mae Waters, Doris Collins and Elaine Lewis and his only son Robert Ellis Waters. He was retired from Cleveland Utilities as a foreman in the Water division. He lived life to the fullest by traveling, gardening, going to flea markets, NASCAR and by loving his family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory three daughters Pricilla Coffey and her husband David, Lisa Waters and Sharon Waters. He always considered Kimberly Sinor as his daughter. He also leaves behind his girlfriend of many years Barbara Dills, his brothers Dan, Donnie and Charles “Fuzz” Waters, his sister Delores Troxler, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 o’clock Wednesday, graveside at Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chad Maxwell officiating.
