Connie was the daughter of the late Mary Louise Davis Montgomery and Clyde Henry Montgomery. Her husband, James Robert Long Sr., her son, Michael Lynn Long, her brothers, James, Bill, Ronnie and Donnie Montgomery, her sisters, Juanita Wright, Katie Montgomery and her nephew, Harold Montgomery also preceded her in death. Connie enjoyed traveling and she was a member of the Haven of Hope Church in Camden, Tennessee.Survivors include her sons, James Robert Long Jr. and his wife Sherri, Jason Long and his wife Tiffany all of Holladay, Tennessee, her grandchildren, Chris Long, Geoffrey Long, Michael Long, Elizabeth Montgomery, Jessica Hitson, her nieces, Anna Louise England and her husband Greg, Beverly Sadler and her husband Aaron, her nephew, James Henry Montgomery and several other nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:00 P. M. from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with Greg England, Nathanael Schmidt, Brandon Austin, David Dilbeck, Aaron Sadler, Ivan Geren and Anthony Moneymaker serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Sunday at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
