Donald A. Moss of Cleveland TN, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at his home. He left to be with our God (father of Jesus Christ his Savior). He attended West Cleveland Baptist Church with his wife Bobbie.Preceded in death by his Sister Bobby Joan (Jo Ann) Moss, Parents Eugene and Lois Moss, Sister and Brother in law Betty and Gene Webb, and previous wife Dolores Moss.He is survived in life by his wife, Bobbie Greene Moss. His sister Rita Daniels and his first wife Nancy Cornelius the mother of his three children: Steve Moss, Deborah Ray, and David Moss; with 10 Grandchildren: Steve Moss Jr., Jason Moss, Daniel Moss, Jennifer Wilbanks, Valorie Green, Stephanie Killian, Austin Moss, Aaron Moss, Ashley Moss, Rebekah Ray, and 8 great grandchildren: Malachi Wilbanks, Junior Green, Cheyanne Green, Bricen Carter, Joseph Bingham, Savanna Bingham, and Jackson Moss.He was born Cramerton N.C. and lived with his two sisters for 20 years in Charlotte N.C. . After his high school graduation he moved to West Palm Beach FL. where he married Nancy Sue Price the mother of his three children.Dons' education included; graduating from Charlotte Central High School and many technical classes in Palm Beach Community College. He also took various correspondence courses in electronic and mechanical engineering.His primary occupation was Plant General Manager for Florida Power & Light Co. He started as a helper, worked 3 years in operations, 1 year in maintenance, and 14 years in water chemistry and equipment testing. For 18 years he took over many different fossil fuel power plants that were in need of revitalization and personnel adjustment. As plant manager, he tamed opposition to authority and reached the goal of an efficiently working power station. Due to his starting as a helper sweeping floors and learning the job from the ground up, he was highly respected and his employees achieved a positive thinking morale. After 36 years he retired and then, moved to Cleveland TN. in order to spend the rest of his life with his family. We will miss him.A Remebrance of Life Service will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday February 17, 2018 at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Arris Cavender and Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. The interment will be held at Oak Hill West Cemetery in Palatka Florida with grandsons serving as casket bearers..
