Ernest Cecil Hardy

Ernest Cecil Hardy, 86, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home. Mr. Hardy is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil N. Hardy and Mary Reed Hardy; two daughters, Peggy Davis and Brenda Mitchell; one son, Billy Hardy and a sister, Rosa Lee Crouse. Ernest was a lifelong resident of the Black Fox Community, here in Cleveland. He retired with 37 years of service at Magic Chef and also worked at Hardwick Stove and Cleveland Enamel. He was an avid fisherman.Those left to Remember his Life are his grandchildren: Andy Hardy, Denisa Capps, Brian Huffaker and Jason Davis; his sister, Mae Hindman and her husband E.L.; his loving friends: Shavanah and Charles Beck, Shana and Taylor Lambert and Larry and Brenda Robinson.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00pm from Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Reverend Larry Robinson and Pastor Benny Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery with Charles Beck, Andy Hardy, Taylor Lambert, Tommy Hindman, Roger Wilcox and Jon Jenkins serving as casket bearers. The family and close friends will receive guest Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
