Erwin A. Fuhrmann

Erwin A. Fuhrmann, age 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday at the family residence. Mr. Fuhrman was the son of the late Erna Koerbitz Fuhrmann and Adolf Fuhrmann. He was born in Hamburg, Germany and moved to the United States in the late 1950’s. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany. He came back to the United States for good in 1965. He was retired from Dr. Shols, Schering-Plough and Merck with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed photography, video work, working on cars and making furniture. Erwin loved his family and he was of the Christian Faith.Survivors include his son, Michael Erwin Fuhrmann of Sulphur, Louisiana, his daughter, Sonja Reisman of Portland, Oregon, his granddaughter, Ashley M. Fuhrmann of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, his brother, Rudolf Fuhrmann and his wife Erika of New Lenox, Illinois, his niece, Cathy Richardson and her husband Terry of New Lenox, Illinois and his great niece, Stacy Janowski and her husband Nick also survive.The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 4:00 P. M. from the Veteran Section of Fort Hill Cemetery with Reverend Isaac Hicks officiating. Military Honors will be given. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P. M. Wednesday at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
