George Mayborn

George Mayborn, age 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning at the family residence. Mr. Mayborn was the son of the late Helen Moon Mayborn and Eugene Mayborn. His sisters, Lura Sutton and Evelyn Newman also preceded him in death. Mr. Mayborn worked in construction most of his life building houses. For many years he also worked for Coppingers building sets and taking care of maintenance. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden but most of all he loved sharing his faith and the bible! He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Gladys Mayborn of Cleveland, his daughters, Kathy Steveson and Kimberly Mayborn both of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Jason Steveson and his wife Kendra, Jennifer Steveson, Shay Mayborn and Michael Mayborn, his great grandchildren, Jonah and Brielle Steveson and Karma England, his brother, Lloyd Mayborn and his wife Doriann of Roseburg, Oregon and several nieces and nephews also survive.They will be no services at this time.
