Harden C. Lee, age 96, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday evening at the family residence. Mr. Lee was the son of the late Flossie Ellison Lee and Charles F. Lee. His wife of 58 years, Frances Marrie Stafford Lee, his grandson, Brandon Stepp, his sister, Mary Ruth Moore, his brothers, Frank, George and Roy Lee, his son in law, James Murray, his step grandson, Kenny Picklesimer and his special friend, Larry Toomey also preceded him in death. Mr. Lee was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the Medical Corp. He farmed most of his life and he was retired from Dixie Foundry/Magic Chef with 32 years of service. Mr. Lee enjoyed wildlife and watching birds. He attended the Baptist Church.Survivors include his daughters, his primary caregiver, Mildred Bain and her husband Jerry of Cleveland, Thelma Picklesimer and her husband Wesley of Cleveland, Wanda Murray of Oak Ridge and Margie Bell and her husband Charlie also of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Jeanette Hammond, Hannah Swafford and Eric Stepp all of Cleveland, his step granddaughter, Michelle Picklesimer of Cleveland, his great grandchildren, Zackary, Daniel, Candice and Cameron Stepp, his step great grandchildren, Summer and Alyissa Picklesimer, his 3 step great great grandchildren, his special great niece, Makenna Lee, his special adopted granddaughter, Kim Dillard and her husband Rodney and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. Special thanks from the family to Guardian Home Health and Hospice of Chattanooga for their caring service.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Daniel White officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as casket bearers. Military honors will be given. A Dove release will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 8:30 P. M. on Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
