Hettie Jean Clark

Hettie Jean Clark age 89 a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday April 21, 2016 in a local health care facility. She was the daughter of the late John and Mirniva Kinser Coleman and was also preceded in death by her husband Celotes W. Clark Sr. and her brothers and sisters, Doss Coleman, Pete Coleman, John Coleman, Roy Coleman, Wilma Gilliland Merrill, Blanche Curbow and Frankie June Coleman.Mrs. Coleman was a seamstress with American Uniform Company with over 25 years of service. She was a member of Candies Creek Baptist Church and at one time very active in the Birchwood Eastern Star. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. She was known as a very caring person but never wanted to be recognized for it.Survivors include her sons Waylon Clark and his wife Sharon, George S.“Butch” Clark and his wife Lisa all of Cleveland, her granddaughter Karen Gilbert and her husband Kris great grandchildren Ryah and Bailey Gilbert all of Cincinnati Ohio also several nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 1 o’clock Sunday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Dr. Jamison Work officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until service time at 1. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Hettie’s honor to Candies Creek Baptist Church Building fund 294 Eureka Rd., Charleston TN., 37310.Read Obituary
