Hulon Wayne Carnley age 66 a resident of Maryville TN., and formerly of Cleveland passed away Monday July 9, 2018 in a Blount County hospital. He was born February 24, 1952 in Bonifay Florida to the late Walter Carnley and Loys Rogers Phillips. Hulon was a retired heating and air tech with over 20 years of service and was a minister of the Gospel for over 24 years. He was a member of God’s House of Prayer in Cleveland. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Judie Carnley, his sons Jamie Lee Carnley and his wife Bridget, Christopher Wayne Carnley and his wife Katie, his daughter Cathie Jo-Anne Johnson and her husband Jeff, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his brothers Lewis Carnley and his wife Wanda, Walter Carnley Jr. and his wife Mageline, his sisters Elizabeth Sawyer, Elaine Harcus, Marie Carnley and Regina Redmon and her husband Philip along with several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Burkett McCann Jr., Rev. Don Harris and Rev. Harold Pitts officiating. The committal service will follow at Cofer cemetery in Meigs County with Joe Ledford, Ron Bard, Lewis Carnley, Terry Ledford, Terry L. Ledford and Bailey Thompson serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Dewayne Pettis, Steven Pettis and Brendon Pettis. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 9pm at the funeral home.
