Logan,
I was so sorry to hear of this great loss to you and your family. When Taylor told me I was in shock. Your Dad was so full of life, out going and friendly. The times that I have talked to him I could tell he was a Super Guy and it was obvious you and he were very close and he loved his family. I am so sorry that you are having to endure this time so early in your journey through life together. But, know one thing, you do not have to travel it alone. Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is taking that walk with you. Turn to him for your strength and endurance during this time of hurt, confusion and loss. He is the healer of the broken heart and even though you may never know the answer as, to why, on this earth He will give you the courage to move ahead. Know that your Dad is not gone. He has just moved on to his eternal home. Even though it is not easy he lives on in the memories you share with him in your heart and mind. You will hear his voice every time you need instruction, see his smile every time you need encouragement and feel his touch every time you need approval. He is with you always in ever thing you do and those memories and the legacy he left with you will sustain you through the good times and the bad times. Don't be afraid to cry and share with those you are close to. Know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers and if there is anything I can do let me know.
Love and Prayer,
Bettye Calhoun (Granny)
