Jerry Allen Goins Sr.

Jerry Allen Goins Sr., age 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, October 28, 2017 in a local hospital. Jerry was the son of the late Louise Forgey Goins and Joseph Virgil Goins. His wife, Judy Suits and his brother, Jimmy Goins also preceded him in death. Jerry worked for the County and City Road Departments with over 20 years of service. He also served as Security Guard with C.P.Z Color Chrome. He loved going to yard sales, flea markets and riding in the mountains. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and being a grandfather. Jerry was Christian.Survivors include his daughters, Tania Beard and her fiancée David Counts of St. Paul, Virginia, Carrie Suits of Cleveland, Jerry Goins Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Terry Goins of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Raven Fairbanks, Alisha Velazquez and her husband Abisai, Cody Visage and his wife Amber, Seth Beard, Zane Fairbanks, Sky Visage, Kadee Visage, Caylie Beard, Kaitlin Beard, Zach Goins and Gabe Goins, his great grandchildren, Jake, Jayce, Joshua and Judith Visage, Caleb, Zoila, Jose, Catalina, Tatiana Velazquez and Scarlett Goins, his sister, Linda Bledsoe and her husband Bobby, his brother, Bobby Goins all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 3:30 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Brother Ray Wrinkle officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
