Joe Ann Wells

Joe Ann Wells age 79 a resident of Charleston TN., passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at the family residence. She was the daughter of the Irwin and Elsie Bowen and was also preceded in death by her first husband Harold Jones and her second husband James Albert Wells, her son Jerry Wells and a daughter Brenda Smith, her brothers Frank, William and Robert Bowen, her sisters Louise Bowen Gleason, Nelli May Bowen Riley and Gertrude Bowen Riley.She worked in employee training at Youder Brothers in Fort Myers Florida. She retired from retail sales in Estero Florida. She was a native of Pulaski TN., and attended the First Baptist Church in Charleston.Survivors include her son Anthony Wells and his wife Duana of Apison Tn., her daughters Gloria Billings and her husband Bill of Vernon IN, Debbie Roberts and her husband John of Aurora IN her sisters Eileen Burns of New Port KY., and Carol Woelfle of VeVay IN as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life graveside service will be held at 12:30 Friday July 15, 2016 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 until 11:30am at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel who has charge of the services.Read Obituary
