Kenneth W. McCormack

Kenneth W. McCormack, age 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday in a local hospital. Mr. McCormack was the son of the late Annie B. Bryan McCormack and William McCormack. His sisters, Clara Sue Brown and Leoma Frazier and his brother, L. D. Golden also preceded him in death. Mr. McCormack was a U. S. Army Veteran. He was retired from American Uniform Company driving a truck with 40 years of service. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing and working in his vegetable garden. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family! Mr. McCormack was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Carrie "Susie" McCormack of Cleveland, his daughters, Ann McAlister and her husband Guy, Karen Ross all of Cleveland, Kathy Hawkins and her husband Reverend Don Hawkins of Lenoir City, Tennessee, his son, Reverend Ron McCormack and his wife Karla of Estill Springs, Tennessee, his 9 grandchildren, his 20 great grandchildren, his 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Services will be conducted Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with his grandsons, Reverend James Haun Jr., Reverend Joshua Haun and Reverend Jamie McCormack officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Guy McAlister, James Haun Jr., Jace Haun, Joshua Haun, Tim Corn, Austin McCormack and Jamie McCormack serving as active casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be his great grandsons. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
