Larry Edgar "Bud" Lewis

Larry Edgar "Bud" Lewis, age 70, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 following a lengthy battle with Leukemia. Larry was the son of the late Gladys McDonald Lewis and William Bryant Lewis. His sister, Barbara J. Bullington also preceded him in death. Larry was an avid reader, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a licensed CPA. Before retiring in 2012 and returning to the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, he lived in Memphis and worked for the State of Tennessee for over 30 years. His last job was as a special agent with the Department of Revenue. Larry was a Veteran of the U. S. Army.Survivors are his sisters, Becky Lewis and Glendia Ball and her husband Scott all of Cleveland.The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 1:00 P. M. from the Benton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jim Hibbard officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who is in charge of the arrangements.
