Jim Rush Funeral Homes 220 Wildwood Avenue, S.E. 2600 North Ocoee Street Cleveland, TN 37311 Phone 423-472-4555 Fax 423-472-2012March 16, 2015Margie Sue Dixon Vaughn, age 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday afternoon in a local hospital. Mrs. Vaughn was the daughter of the late Mittie Evelyn Shell Dixon and Columbus Blaine Dixon. Her son, Timothy Lloyd Vaughn, her sisters, Thelma Kaylor, Dorothy Louise Brackett, Alma Crye and Agnes McGee and her brothers, Virgil Newman Dixon and Ernest Thomas Dixon also preceded her in death. Mrs. Vaughn was a professional waitress with over 20 years of service when she lived in Ohio. In Cleveland, she was part owner and book keeper for Jack Bishop’s Cars. She enjoyed the outdoors including working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was known for her servant’s heart and was willing to help anyone in need. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the Washington Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Lenise Lowry and her husband Thomas of Elyria, Ohio, Mitzi Gayle Vaughn of Seville, Ohio and Brenda Sue Theis and her husband Mark of Bay Village, Ohio, her son, Paul Edward Vaughn of Cleveland, her grandchildren, Paul Jacob Vaughn, Natalie and Chris Theis and Amanda and Kyla Greetham, her 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Isaac Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements. My Beautiful Aunt Sue ( "Aunt Cat"), although you've gone home to be with the Lord your love and radiant smile will be forever with us all the days that we walk this Earth. We have been very blessed to have you in our lives, and will miss you till we see your beautiful face again. We love you forever . . Heaven gained a new Angel.
