Brown age 73 passed away on Valentines day February 14, 2015 with her loving family and friends at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Stella Parks her brother David and his wife Judy Parks and a daughter Dixie Freeman.She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Washington Ave. Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband Charlie Brown, daughter Marion Hardwick and her husband David, son Tim Goins and his wife Karen, sister Betty Godfrey four grandchildren Jeremy Freeman, Josh Freeman and his wife Melissa, Charity Black and her husband Cory, Hope Ballinger and her husband Colby, four great grandchildren Gracie Freeman, Jagger Freeman, Maverick Freeman, and Ryan Ballinger, several nieces and nephews, special brother in law Lester Brown, special friends Pauline McFarland, Linda Melton, Earl and Gail Williams and Billy and Rachel Martin.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 3pm Tuesday at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Jackie Epperson officiating. The interment will be at 11am Wednesday in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with Cory Black, Colby Ballinger, Tyler Goins, Steven Little, Jody Helms and Robbie Fields serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 until 3 at the funeral home.Read Obituary
