I remember the first time I met Maxine at Southern Heritage. I thought to myself, "This is a lady who knows what she is doing and enjoys it." Whenever I needed to discuss my account or open new ones, I always hoped she would be available and knew she would give me her upmost customer service. Our business relationship become more. Maxine became my friend and I loved her bright smile and her encouragement! I will dearly miss her. I am sure Southern Heritage hated to see her retire, and are all missing her as I do. So thankful that I will see her again someday, and we will praise the Lord again together! Praying for all of you who loved her!!! A loyal customer and friend, Cindra (Cindy) Gillespie Philemon 4.

Friends for over forty years. Maxine and I both had a long banking career and worked together for many of those years. I knew her Mom and Dad. To describe Maxine is difficult because she was special in so many ways. She was a great lady. She loved the Lord. I am proud to have been her friend. She will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. I can't remember how I met Maxine, but we always spoke and asked how each other was doing. She was a kind, sweet lady, and I will miss seeing her around town.
