Olen Cross Jr.

Olen Cross Jr. age 78 a resident of Calhoun GA., and formerly of Cleveland passed away Saturday January 13, 2018 in a Gordon County hospital. He was the son of the late Olen and Letha Woods Cross and was also preceded in death by his wife Carlene Lela Triplett Cross and great granddaughter Zoie AnnaLayne Jane Moorehead. Olen was retired from Olin Chemical Company with over 15 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughters Angela Cross Moorehead and her husband Presley, Linda Wilcox and her husband Jerry, his grandchildren BriAnna Moorehead and Chantelle Wilcox, 6 great grandchildren, his brother Charles Cross and his sisters Nora Higgins and Brenda Cross Farrar. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock on Wednesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Ray Cheatham officiating. The entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 6pm and Tuesday from 12 until 6pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
