Ruby Ward

Ruby Ward age 88 a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday January 16, 2016 in a Chattanooga health care facility. She was born October 26 1927 in Cleveland to the late Harrison and Annie Welch Stepp and was also preceded in death by her husband Glenn Ward Sr., her brothers Richard Stepp and Clyde Stepp and her sister Dottie Clinton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her “grandbabies”.She is survived by her daughters Janice Odom and her husband Doug, Patricia Woody and her husband Ed, her son Glenn Ward Jr. and his wife Gayla all of Cleveland, her grandchildren Sandy Harrison and her husband Ken, Clay Ward and his wife Tabitha, Tasha Woody, Tanner Odom and his wife Joy, Jeremy Odom and his wife Katie, Eric Gibson and his wife Amanda, her great grandchildren Ryan Lowe and his fiancé Georgia Wright, Caramie Bourdon and her husband Jonathan, Kody Ward, Meghan Ward, Brock, Reid, Braylen and Drake Gibson, Ethan, Leighton and Charlotte Odom and Brandon Harrison and several nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Dupree officiating. The interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with Clay Ward, Tanner Odom, Jeremy Odom, Eric Gibson, Ryan Lowe and Kody Ward serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
