Ruth Legate Griswold

Ruth Legate Griswold, age 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2017 at the family residence. Mrs. Griswold was the daughter of the late Alice Cook Legate and Harry F. Legate. Her husband, Frank Griswold Sr. also preceded her in death. Mrs. Griswold enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working on crafts. She was a member of the Bowman Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Alice Green of Cleveland, her sons, Frank Griswold Jr of Cleveland, Bill Griswold of Adams, Massachusetts, Richard Griswold and his wife Sonya of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Tom Griswold of Cleveland, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her nephew, Albert "Skip" Griswold and his wife Nancy of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 4:00 P . M. from the Bowman Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Dewight Herod officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Church before the service at 4:00. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
