Sheila Ann Long Cunningham

Mrs. Sheila Ann Long Cunningham, 63, resident of Cleveland Tennessee, received her reward in heaven on Tuesday morning, March 18, 2017, at her residence. She was a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Granny, and Sister. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years Rev. Vaughn D. Cunningham, her Father Artis Long, one brother Ronnie Long and grandparents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughter Vonda (Joshua) Bethel; son, Anthony (Jennifer) Cunningham; six grandchildren: Waylan Pleger, Alexander Cunningham, Jada Cunningham, John Bethel, Shealana Bethel, and Khalon Bethel; her Mother Doris Long, one sister Janet (Leon) Daniel, one brother Jackie Long, and her niece and nephews. She was a classically trained pianist and organist who worked for the Lord with her talents of playing and singing all her life. She, her husband and daughter made up the Cunningham Trio and were a blessing to many with their pastoral and singing ministry. She was a phenomenal pastor’s wife, who cared for others like they were her own. Always welcoming and hospitable and full of wisdom and love. She will truly be deeply missed by her family and friends, but she will be celebrating with her husband what would have been their 44th wedding anniversary on April 20th. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday at 6 o’clock EST at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel. The committal service will be held Saturday at 12 o’clock CST at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 15515 Yellow Creek Rd. Tuscaloosa Alabama 35406.
