Timothy J. Payne, 57, of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Tim was born on June 12, 1961, and grew up in Farner, Tennessee. He was the fifth of six children born to Mary Jo Payne and the late Lloyd Payne. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia (Jay) Lewis and brother Pedro (Renee) Payne.Tim married Amy in 1982, and was the love of her life. Tim did not know a stranger, often running into someone he knew everywhere he went. Tim was also a big Tennessee Volunteer fan, and is no doubt singing “Rocky Top” as loud as he can while watering the grass at 10 PM.He was an employee of Olin Chemical in Charleston.Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Amy Payne of Calhoun; son and daughter-in-law Aric and Kara Payne of Calhoun; son Evan Payne of Calhoun; grandchildren Aubri and Jackson Payne; his mother, Mary Jo Payne, brother and sister-in-law L.D. and Teresa Payne of Chickamauga, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law Dale and Peggy Payne of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Sheila Payne of Riceville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other friends and family also survive. The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 4:00 P. Such a sad time for the family. My condolences.
I was heartbroken to hear of Mr. Payne's passing. I have had the pleasure of taking care of him for many years, and I very much enjoyed visiting with him. He was always so kind and our entire office will miss him greatly.
Gary and Shelia, we are so very sorry for your loss. We love you both very much. Prayers are being sent for your family. David and Sue Womac
Aric and Amy, I am so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. Praying for you all. Love and Hugs, Haley, Daniel, Quinn and Ezra Loudermilk
i always loved it when Tim stopped by to visit with Dennis. He and Dennis were always lots of laughs together, sharing tales and swapping stories. He always talked so lovingly of his family. I want you to know that my thought and prayers are very much with you this weekend but it would be just too hard for me to make a visit as this is the 2 year anniversary of Dennis' death and it is still so hard. You may not understand now, but in time you will. Just know that God is faithful and will see you through the dark days ahead. Let others help you and please reach out to me if you need someone to talk to who knows what you are going through. Love you Margaret Boring
Our condolences to you and the family - please call if you need anything.
