Walter Franklin “Bob” Bullington Sr. age 82 a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday September 20, 2015 in a local hospital. Walter was the son of the late Charles and Maggie Bullington and was also preceded in death by three brothers, CJ Bullington of Fort Scott KS, Kenneth Bullington and Ralph Bullington of Cleveland, his sister Cecil Posey of Chattanooga and a grandson Patrick Bullington.Walter was a member of the Cowboy Church where he played the bass with the music ministry. He was also involved with the bowling community in Cleveland for over 60 years, bowling one 300 game. Walter retired from Bowater with 38 years of service.He is survived by his wife of 61 years Barbara Jean Bullington, 2 sons and their spouses Walter F. Bullington Jr. and his wife Candace, William “Tony” Bullington and his wife Ethel, grandchildren Samantha Bullington, Sarah Bullington, Daniel Bullington and Kayla Bullington, step grandchild Cameron Bianconi, four great grandchildren, his sisters Annabelle Hall, Betty Marie Clinton and Charlotte Howard all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Scoggins and Rev. Wally Varnell officiating. The interment will follow in the Benton Memorial Cemetery with Doug Kazy, Ron Prater, Ronnie Prater, Ralph Bryan, Jessie Cabrera and Bobby Green serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
