Amanda Lynn Myers

Amanda Lynn Myers, age 39, a resident of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in a Chattanooga hospital. Amanda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Girdie Belle Moore, her grandfather, Alfred Myers, her aunt, Brenda Blair, and her uncles, Jerone Myers, Tommy Myers and Hank Myers. Amanda enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens and cooking. She was a devoted mother to her "Babies" and she loved spending time with her girls and shopping. She read her Bible everyday and she attended the Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Jada Raine Norwood, Layla Brooke Norwood both of Decatur, her mother, Kathy Stone also of Decatur, her father, Jacky Myers of Cleveland, he maternal grandparents, Jeffery and Linda Myers of Decatur, her maternal great grandmother, Virginia Quinn of Cleveland, her sister, Jackie Gatlin and her husband Tommy, her half sister, Amber Prince and her husband Scotty all of Cleveland, her aunts, Dorothy Rogers and her husband Ray, Lorene Womack and her husband Roy all of Cleveland, her special friend, Gail Stephens of Maryville, Tennessee and several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Meigs County with Anthony Underwood, Tommy Gatlin, Roy Womack, Bill Myers, Alan Couch and Lucas Leffew serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 P. M. Sunday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
