Annie Wilcoxon Rose, age 83, a resident a life long resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away Monday evening at the family residence. Mrs. Rose was the daughter of the late Esther Mantooth Black and Jim Black. Her first husband, Henry "Poncho" Wilcoxon, her second husband, Eugene Rose, her sons, Albert and Daniel Wilcoxon, her son in law, Bobby Davis, her sister, Betty Jean Pullim and her brothers, James, Bobby and Harley Black also preceded her in death. Mrs. Rose was retired from Rubber Made after many years of service. She enjoyed sewing, working in her vegetable and flower gardens but most of all, she loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Rose was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga, Georgia.Survivors include her daughters, Mary Davis of Old Fort, Essie Duncan and her husband Lester of Tennga, Georgia, her sons, David Wilcoxon and his wife Margie, Mac Wilcoxon and his wife Gail, Tommy Wilcoxon and his wife Debra, Bobby Wilcoxon and his wife April all of Old Fort, her 11 grandchildren, her 12 great grandchildren, her sisters, Martha Trentham of Old Fort, Mary Parks of Eton, Georgia, her brothers, Holland Black, Donnie Black and his wife Joann, Verlone Black and his wife Ada all of Old Fort, her sisters in law, Peggy Black of Cleveland, Sharon Black of Old Fort, her special caregivers, Carol Hunt and Edie Neal and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 P. M. from the Ball Play Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Moore and Reverend Matthew Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Play Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons and great grandsons serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Friday at the Ball Play Baptist Church. Mrs. Rose may be viewed at the church of Saturday from 12:00 until 1:00 P. M. on Saturday.
