Betty Jo Hutson

Betty Jo Hutson, age 89, a resident of Dayton, Tennessee and formerly of Birchwood, passed away, Monday evening in a Dayton, Tennessee health care facility. Mr. Hutson was born in Birchwood, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Beatrice McKinney Ratcliff Stokes and Hoyle Rufus Ratcliff. Her husband, Ralph Hutson Sr., her stepson, Ralph Hutson Jr., her sister, Alene Ratcliff and her brother, L. J. Radcliff also preceded her in death. She was a 1948 graduated of Birchwood High School and she was a member of the Birchwood Church of God.Survivors include her grandson, Travis Hutson of Johnson City, Tennessee, her niece, Vanessa Bozonelos and her husband Greg of Sheffield, Alabama, her great nieces, Courtney Cofield and her husband Chet and Morgan Bozonelos, her great great nieces, Abby Cofield and Ella Cofield and her sister in law, Leona Radcliff of Florence, Alabama also survives.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Stephen Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the McInturf Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family request that in lieu of Flowers, Memorials be made to the Birchwood Church of God, 5602 Bunker Hill Road, Birchwood, Tennessee 37308. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 P. M. Saturday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
