Billy Wayne Lisk

Billy Wayne Lisk, 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the family residence. Mr. Lisk was born in Stanly County, North Carolina and he was the son of the late Susie Russell Lisk and Curtis Lisk. His sister, Helen Byrd, husband, Ervin Byrd and their daughter, Lydia also preceded him in death. Mr. Lisk was a U. S. Army Veteran and was one of the founders of United Knitting in Cleveland. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Cleveland Country Club. Most of all he was a devoted family man. Mr. Lisk was a member of the Wesley Memorial Church.Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Peggy Lisk, Cleveland; daughter, Pamela L. Hopper (David), Stokesdale, North Carolina; son, Dale Wayne Lisk, North Carolina; grandchildren, Brittany, Brad, Curtis and Chelsee; niece, Kim Bahr (Kenny), Durham, North Carolina; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2 P. M. at the Wesley Memorial Church with Reverend Ramon Torres officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 P. M. until 2 P. M. Saturday at the Wesley Memorial Church.
