Reverend Bob L. Hendren Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Reverend Bob L. Hendren, 77, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born on September 18, 1944, in Ripley, TN, to the late Paige and Thelma Hendren. He began serving in the Army National Guard in 1962 and graduated from OCS in Maryville/Alcoa TN as a 2nd Lieutenant. He ended his tenure as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Reserves in 1967. He served with distinction as a Church of God Pastor for 26 years. He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Donna Kuykendall Hendren; 4 children, Kirk Hendren of Halls, TN, Amy Beth McGlamery (Kevin) of Huntsville, AL, Jason Hendren (Amy) of Zebulon, NC, LaDonna Britsch (Nathan) of Fort Mill, SC and 1 sister, Shelvy Lusk of Hazel Park, MI; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and other extended family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 15, at North Cleveland Church of God’s Dixon Chapel with Dr. Mark Williams, Pastor Amy McGlamery and Pastor Kevin McGlamery officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will be held private for the family at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday at the Dixon Chapel. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
