Bobby Carr age 41 a resident of Ringgold GA., and formerly of Cleveland passed away Sunday February 18, 2018 at the family residence. Bobby was employed with Tag Manufacturing in Chattanooga as a supervisor in the welding department with over 10 years of service. He was a semi-pro bowler with numerous awards and accomplishments. He won the Hoinke Classic in Cincinnati this past November bowling a perfect game of 300. He was a member of the Brunswick Bowling team and bowled in Tennessee and Georgia, his regular league team in Cleveland at Leisure Time Bowling was named Three Young Bucks and a Goat. He coached the bowling team at Bradley Central High School and also coached football and baseball. He was a huge Georgia sports fan. He was an avid softball player playing for his company’s team and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his son Aiden Carr of Cleveland his father and step-mother Douglas and Raleen Carr of Ringgold, his sister Denni Thomas of Ringgold, his brothers Steven Carr and Kevin Carr and his wife Abby all of Cleveland, 2 nephews and 1 niece. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 6 o’clock Thursday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Pastor Robbie Crisp and Rev. Larry Evans officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 6pm at the funeral home.

Bobby played on my softball team back in the early 2000's. He was the best pitcher we had and our home run king as well! I always hit in front of Bobby and when i was on base, I knew that any minute I would be crossing home plate because he was about to hit one way out of the park!!! Some of the best times of my life, I always remember him. HeaBen gained an Angel!

He was a great friend that always was there to give advice on bowling when you needed it. He was a great bowler and person, he will be greatly missed by all of his friends. Fly high you have a new body and a heavenly home. I will miss you more than words can say.
