Brenda Sue Jackson, age 72, a resident of Chatsworth, Georgia and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 in a Dalton, Georgia health care facility. Brenda was the daughter of the late Addie Burns Metcalf and Stanley Metcalf. Her husbands, Ralph Randolph Jackson Sr. and Leeroy Jackson, her 3 sisters, her 4 brothers, her step son, Charles Holt and her step daughter Carolyn Galvin also preceded her in death. Brenda loved the outdoors including working in her flower and vegetable gardens, riding in the car and riding on the river in a pontoon boat. Brenda was a mamaw to all that knew her. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly! She was a member of the Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Carroll and her husband Joe of Chatsworth, her sons, Ralph Randolph Jackson Jr. and Ronnie Jackson both of Crandall, Georgia, her 4 step daughters, Cindy Ellis and her husband Jerry, Sharon Jackson, Brenda Baggett and her husband Keith all of Cleveland, Rachel Tipton of North Carolina, her 3 step sons, Danny Wacaster and his wife Liz of Rossville, Georgia, Robert Holt and his wife Missy, Leonard Holt and his wife Robin all of Cleveland, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister, Eva Broome of Plainville, Georgia, her brother, Buck Metcalf of Reno, Nevada and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. from the Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church with Reverend Marvin Jackson and Reverend Daniel White officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnston Cemetery in Meigs County with Ralph Randolph Jackson Jr., Jerry Ellis, Joey and Joshua Carroll, Danny Wacaster Sr. and Danny Wacaster Jr. serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Ronnie Jackson, Joe Carroll, Fred Carroll and Keith Baggett. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
