Bruce Wayne "Uncle Booley" Chastain

Bruce Wayne "Uncle Booley" Chastain, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at the family residence. Wayne was born in Cleveland and he was the son of the late Edna Mae Horn Chastain and Eli Chastain. His wife, Sallie Ann Chastain, brother, Quentin Chastain and Stepfather, Ronald "Shorty" Freeman also preceded him in death. "Uncle Booley", as he was affectionately called, was self-employed most of his life working along with his brother Kennith in construction working with concrete. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and dirt track racing. Wayne was a member of the Temple Baptist Church.Survivors include his sister in law, Ozella Marie Chastain of Old Fort, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Paul Fox and Chaplain David Riggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P. M. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
