Click to View Carol's ServiceCarol Maples Brown age 76 a life-long resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday April 9, 2020 in a local health care facility. Carol was one of thirteen children born to the late James and Ruth Stonecipher Maples. She was preceded in death by eleven of her brothers and sisters and her husband Johnny Brown. Carol was a stay at home mom until her husband passed away and then she went to work in the cafeteria at Trewitt Junior High School. After the passing of her parents she became the matriarch of her family. Living at her family’s homestead, she continued to host her brothers and sisters and their families for holidays and special events and just to eat. She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Kevin Brown and Jeremy Reagan, her grandson Braxton Reagan, her brother George Maples and his wife Shirley Ann along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A Remembrance of Life service will be held privately at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Marvin Carr officiating along with family and friends serving as casket bearers. Carol was my friend we grew up in the same neighborhood for years Carol was my neighbor. Carol and I had something in common. We both grew up in a family of thirteen children .We laughed together we cried together Carol was a good friend l will miss her
I have know Carol since we got out of high school work with her also was a very nice person
