Cecelia Querino Smitty

Cecelia Querino Smitty, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, November 6, 2021 at the family residence. Cecelia was born in Georgetown, Guyana, in South America and she was the daughter of the late Elsa Dias Querino and Anthony Querino. Her former husband, Robert Smitty, sister, Rita Fisher and sister in law, Savitry Querino also preceded her in death. Cecelia was retired from Peyton's after 25 years of service. She loved animals, love to sing but most of all she loved to work in her flower garden. Sometimes she would work with her flowers from daylight to dark. Cecelia was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Smitty, Cleveland, sons, David Smitty (Debbie), Alpharetta, Georgia, Paul Smitty, Decatur, Georgia, Robby Smitty, Chickamauga, Georgia, grandchildren, Cory Smitty, Amber Smitty, Ben Smitty (fiancé' Julie Sullivan), Anna Smitty, J. J. Smitty, sister, Carol Fischer, Kirkfield, Ontario, Canada, brother, Augustus Querino, Kissimmee, Florida, several nieces and nephews.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Jim Hibbard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
