Charles Edward Austin

Charles Edward Austin, age 81 ,a resident of Ooltewah crossed over to his new home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Morning Pointe East Hamilton. He was the son of the late Thomas “Pete” and Dorothy Reed Austin and was also preceded in death by his loving wife Wilma Austin.Mr. Austin was retired from M&M Mars and previous to that he was employed with CF Industries. In his younger years he was an Avid jogger/runner competing in numerous marathons. He also loved to bike. He was a little league sports coach and he attended Mineral Park Baptist Church.He is survived by his children Amanda Gregg and her husband Mike, Thomas Austin and his wife Christy, granddaughters Brittany Gregg and Emily Austin, his brother Calvin “Jack” Austin, and his niece and nephew Angela Rymer and Galen Austin.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Graveside at Corinth Baptist Church in McDonald Tn., Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1pm.Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel in Cleveland TN., has charge of the arrangements.Read Obituary
