Charles Alvin "Charlie" Bryant

Charles Alvin "Charlie" Bryant, age 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning at the family residence. Charlie was the son of the late Zettie Hall Bryant and Joe Allen Bryant. His sister, Faye White and Geneva Evans and his brother, Calvin Bryant also preceded him in death. Charlie worked in the Photo business for 35 years. He was a huge Elvis fan and he enjoyed the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. He loved his dogs, "T. J.", "Jayla", "Madeline" and "Jazzy". Charlie attended the Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Anne Goins Bryant of Cleveland, his daughter, Betty Jo "B. J." Bryant, his sons, Wesley and Randy Bryant all of Cleveland, his step daughters, Debra Goins of Athens, Stephanie Johnson of Cleveland, his step son, Ronny Goins and his wife Elaine of Cleveland, his grandchildren, Cory Chamberlain, Katie Roe, Erica Ellison, Kayla Ellison, Shelby Johnson, Jaxon Johnson, Shey Rich and Raylan Aaron Bryant, his great grandchildren, Eliza Chamberlain, Elbie Luna Chamberlain, Indica Violet Millsaps and Eli Rich, his sister, Opal Harper of Athens, his special sister in law, Peggy Wishon, special brother in law, Billy Wishon both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to say a special thanks to Caris Hospice and to Charlie's caregiver, Alan Rednose.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 3:00 P. M. with Reverend Waymon Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Danny Harper, Cory Chamberlain, Glen Tinnell, Billy Scroggs, Robert Black, Danny Kincaid and David Harper serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 P. M. Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
