Dale L. Harmeson

Dale L. Harmeson, 67, of Benton, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, in a local health care facility. His former wife, Carol Harmeson, and his father, Dr. Vernon Harmeson, preceded Dale in death. Dale was a retired teacher with the Cleveland City School System with 30 years of service. Before coming to Cleveland, he also taught in Florida. Dale was the current Chaplain with the Polk County Fire and Rescue. He had a servant’s heart and he loved training others to serve. Dale enjoyed being with his family and friends and he was a member of the Westmore Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Mary Harmeson of Benton; his son Pastor Dennis Harmeson and his wife Rebecca of Zephyrhills, Florida, his son Dean Harmeson and his wife Janet of Safety Harbor, Florida; his grandchildren, Aaron, Brenden and his wife Jessica, Kaylee, Ian, Nathan, and Samantha Harmeson; his mother Bonnie June Harmeson of Cleveland; his brother, Philip Alan Harmeson and his wife Bonnie of Grand Forks, North Dakota; his step son, Aaron Mitchell and his wife Jannafer of Homedale, Idaho; his aunts, Brownie Edmondson and her husband Reverend James Edmondson, Margaret Biehl and Hilda Harris; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and the mother of his two sons, Wanda Bianco of Zephyrhills.A Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 11:00 am from Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Dennis Harmeson officiating.
