Dalton James "Jim" Markcloud

Dalton James "Jim" Markcloud, age 53, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the family residence. Dalton was the son of the late Nancy Billie Markcloud and Alfred Markcloud. Dalton was a full blooded Native American and he was very proud to be apart of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He was a Certified Welder and Carpenter. He loved the outdoors including fishing and being on the river. Most of all he loved his family and his church. Dalton was a member of the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy where he was very active.Survivors include his sons, Travis Markcloud and his companion Samantha Newell of McDonald, Perry Markcloud of Cleveland, his grandson, Silas William Markcloud of McDonald, his sister, Marsha Cain, his brothers, Jerry Markcloud and Jason Smith, his aunt who helped raise him after his mothers untimely passing, Thelma Sowards and her husband Phillip of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his uncle, Lee Roy Smith also of Tulsa, his aunts, Velma Mullen and her husband John, Betty Frazier and Loretta Billie his uncle, John Billie and his wife Brenda and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 5:00 P. M. at the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Adam Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P. M. Thursday at the Church. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
